Bratislava: Slovakian SUN Film Awards Nominations 2012

Slovakia is gearing up for its equivalent of the Oscars, the Sun In A Net film awards, set to take place on April 17, 2012. Sun In A Net, which takes its name after the Slovak classic film by Štefan Uher The Sun in the Net (Slnko v sieti, 1962), has awarded Zuzana Liova's House and Martin Sulik's Gypsy with a dominating 12 nominations each.

Among those also receiving multiple nominations was the documentary 25 from the Sixties or the Czechoslovak New Wave, feature Apricot Island, and the historic adventurism movie Legend of Flying Cyprian.
